Cedar Point in Lake Eerie has been vote the Best Amusement Park in the world for ten consecutive years by the Amusement Today readers with its record breaking roller coasters and also the second oldest amusement park in North America.  This park was originally named for the groves of the cedar trees that once outlined in the peninsula.  At first, this place was a bathing beach with a small attraction and gradually turned into a Cedar Point as we known it today.  The park makes it so unique compared from any other parks because of its tradition of being an old fashion park but still having the latest amusement rides.  It has a collection of sixteen roller coasters and many other rides this is why over three million people around the globe visits this place every year and besides this exhilarating rides, Cedar Point provides a quality family entertainment including live shows of Peanuts character on ice, Extreme Biking shows and numerous games of skill.  The Cedar Point differentiating features of being located on a peninsula surrounded by the Lake Eerie, from the incredible coastal scenery at 420 feet in the sky to the sandy beach, truly Lake Eerie does offer more to the guest of Cedar Point.  This once tree covered peninsula is now of the largest and successful amusement park in the world.
