It is considered as the largest water park in Ohio.  In Lake Erie Metro parks, a 1,607-acre recreational facility features a panoramic view of the Lake Erie along its three-mile shoreline.  Along the Metro parks trail, fresh air awaits you and explores the hemlocks ravine, open meadows, mature forests and the Lake Erie shoreline.  You can discover the fascinating clues to there past.  Most of the trails in Metro parks are gravel surfaced, some are hard surface that is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs and some trails include steps and incline that challenge any hikers.  There are specially permitted designated trails for horses and bicycles.  Hiking can really help in relieving the stresses in everyday life whether you just want to take a short meander through beautiful surroundings, go for a longer hike to get some exercise or walk on labeled trail to learn more about nature.
