Lake Michigan Attractions

Lake Michigan is one of the destinations for thousands of visitors interested in colors, tours and scenic drive.  Torch Lake is one of the best attractions that Lake Michigan can offer; the National Geographic’s as the third most beautiful lake in the world ranks this lake.

Torch Lake is the longest lake of Michigan at 18miles long and it’s the state second largest lake.  This Lake is also called the Caribbean Blue.   One of the things that Torch Lake does is its beautiful and unique colors; it has a mixture of green, blue and turquoise colors.  Its area provides beautiful winding roads that will take you on a tour of the lake all year round.  It is located in the northwestern Michigan Lower Peninsula often referred to as the area’s chain of lakes region.

The Torch Lake Michigan area offers a lot of recreational opportunities such as swimming, boating, sailing, kayaking, hiking, biking and many more.  The Torch Lakes average depth is over 200 feet, which is a good habitant of trout and great fishing lake.  Different kinds of species reside in the lake.  To name a few, they are the rock bass, yellow perch, lake trout, brown and rainbow trout. There are only few places in the world that can give you a brilliant and breathtaking variety of colors and one of those is the Torch Lake.  Truly a splendid wonders of the earth.
